September 19, 2007 – Christy Clark introduces the gaping disparity in funding between women’s and men’s centres in BC. She also highlights the lack of support for men in terms of suicide prevention. She refers to a murder suicide by saying that a man “murdered himself and his family.” And that the system failed to identify him as a potential risk.
